Contract and use

Terms and conditions

Version 2026-08-07-v2. This is an implementation-ready draft and must be reviewed against the final operator, tax and consumer-law setup before public launch.

1. Provider and scope

The service is provided by FORENLYX, DEINE STRASSE 1, 86150 AUGSBURG, DEUTSCHLAND. These terms govern account registration, trials, subscriptions and use of the FORENLYX AI-media-authenticity service.

2. Service description

FORENLYX currently analyses supported image files for signals related to AI generation, AI/digital editing and provenance and creates a structured authenticity report. Technical file facts, visual observations, provenance information, counter-evidence and limitations are kept distinct. Video analysis is not part of the current production service unless explicitly stated otherwise.

FORENLYX does not provide an authenticity guarantee, court ruling, identity verification or definitive proof that an image is authentic, AI-generated or AI/digitally edited. Results are evidence-based assessments that can remain inconclusive.

3. Account and security

Users must provide accurate account information, protect login credentials and promptly report suspected misuse. Accounts may not be shared outside the permitted plan scope.

Email verification and, where configured, bot protection and multi-factor authentication are used to protect accounts.

4. Permitted uploads

Users may upload only files they are authorised to process. Uploads must not unlawfully infringe copyright, personality rights, confidentiality obligations or applicable law.

Illegal content, malware, automated mass submissions and attempts to bypass technical limits are prohibited.

5. Trial and analysis credits

The free trial is limited in duration and analyses. It does not require a payment method. A trial may be used once per person or organisation unless otherwise agreed.

Paid plans include a defined analysis allowance per billing period. Unused credits expire at the end of the respective period unless explicitly stated otherwise.

6. Prices, billing and renewal

Prices, billing interval, included credits and any taxes are shown before the order is placed. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected interval until cancelled.

Payment processing and invoices are handled by the configured payment provider. Access may be restricted after failed payment while preserving statutory rights.

7. Cancellation and withdrawal

Subscriptions can be managed and cancelled through the permanently available cancellation page and billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Consumers receive the applicable withdrawal information and model form separately. Requests can be submitted through the withdrawal page or to the support email address.

8. Availability and changes

Maintenance, security incidents or third-party outages may temporarily restrict availability. Material changes to paid functionality or these terms will be communicated appropriately before taking effect.

9. Liability and professional assessment

Users remain responsible for how reports are interpreted and used. Important decisions should be supported by qualified human review and, where necessary, independent forensic examination.

Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected. Any additional limitations require final legal review for the operator's specific business form and target markets.
